After many years of thinking about starting a blog, I decided to take the plunge and finally start it. Why now? A confluence of many things: I like to read about business and geopolitical events and try to foresee what may happen in the near/mid/long term. To me, the world is a chess game.
One of the purposes of this blog will be to serve as my forecast accountability tool. This will also be an opportunity to share with a greater audience my thoughts, bits of wisdom, and perspectives on topics that are of value to me. Namely, Wealth, Business, Success Mindset, Improvement of oneself, and Life in general. If people can benefit from it, then why not?
I recently read the speech “The Man in the Arena” by T. Roosevelt, and it gave me the motivation to start. This blog is my “Man in the Arena” moment. For years, I thought of starting a blog, but the fear of criticism was too big of a hurdle. It is no more.
This blog is not an attempt to become an influencer or anything of the sort. It is simply my accountability tool. If people can benefit from it, then that’s for the better.
To be frank, this is an evolving project, with an end picture yet to be identified. I don’t know how this will be organized or what the writing frequency will be. I “made” the decision to start on Saturday. It is the very next Monday. I don’t know much else than this: Expect to hear at some interval of times about Wealth Building, Wisdom & Mindset, Business Insights, Global Macro, and other miscellaneous topics. This is by no means an exhaustive list.
